Best friend of the Bride

I have known Laura since grade 9 band class and we have gone from being just acquaintance to best friends. We've grown up together and have share more than just stories. We survived wild camping trips, snowshoing experiences, weddings, births, deaths and both band and climbing trips. She's the one you hand the bill to at the end of the meal not to pay but to add up what everyone owe plus tip. She makes a mean chile cheese bread and watch out if there's a tray of jello shooters around.

Jessica is the 3rd oldest in the family (by 4 days) and will always be the first to tell you that. We were always close growning up not sure if that's because we were both only children or because I had cool Barbie doll accessories and clothes. Christmases were always fun because Jessy would tear open her gift in about 2 seconds flat (family record) and then sit there an proceed to badger me into opening my gifts faster. To this day I still love teasing her by taking the tape off so carefully as to not destroy the wrapping paper.

Krystle Ion - Bridesmaid

Krystle is our baby in the family (by 4 days) and has to hear it all the time (poor girl). She's always been into sports and is one of the brave few in the family who came out with me to try her hand a curling. It was cold, it was long hours sometimes but it was fun. She keeps saying she's not a dress girl (her last dress being a poofy and very pretty pink grad dress) so you can bet we'll be taking lots of pics of the bridesmaids to prove to everyone she looks good wearing one. Gotta have something to blackmail with *wink*.

Debbie St. Louis - Bridesmaid
Cousin in Law of the Bride

Debbie is one of the many new additions of the family. She and my cousin Sean have been together for a number of years and even have a wonderful daughter, Jordyn, together. Always a pleasure catching up at family functions and chat with. I do want to remind her though that at her baby shower it was not my idea to put a decorated diaper on her head like a hat so I hope she remembers that when it comes time to plan a stagette.

Jordyn Ion - Flower Girl
Second Cousin of the Bride

Jordyn is the daughter of Debbie and my cousin Sean and our first baby in the family in 20 years. Always a treasure to watch and you never know what she will do or say when you see her. To her I am either Gina or Tina and Pat is Pat Pat. When we asked her if she would be our flower girl she jumped around excitedly about how she was going to be a fluvver girl then later a salad girl. She will probably steal the show and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Lindsay Vandenberg - Best (Wo)Man
Best friend of the Groom

Lindsay is a long time friend of Pat's who goes all the way back to the Halifax days. Kudos to her for putting up with him for so many years...please let me know your secret (hee hee just kidding).

Andrew Drinkwater - Groomsman
Friend of the Groom

Andrews is a good friend of Pat's and I had the pleasure of getting to know him better one night when I drove him home from the hospital after he broke his collar bone. His thank you...letting us demolish his house. I think that's a fair trade off don't you? Always great though to get together to hang out and pass around home owner stories. Thanks to Andrew we'll be well prepared when buying our next place.

Tyler Tomlinson - Groomsman
Friend of the Groom

Where to begin with Tyler. Long (long!) time friend of mine and newly found hockey partner of Pat's. I could probably list stories about Ty and I forever and a day but no one has that kinda time nor want to hear those stories (right Tyler!). I'm actually most amazed that I was able to find a picture of him since in highschool he use to hate having his picture taken and started a camera war between the two of us. Ah the good ole days.

Nicholas Schmid - Groomsman
Friend of the Groom

Nicholas, or Nick (hrm wonder if I could ever call him Nikky. I'm thinking no) is another hockey buddy and good friend of Pat's. Always up drinks and beer and a good Canucks game if on the tube. Nick was one of the few people we contacted in Glasgow not only to say hi but also to see about crashing on his families couch when we couldn't find room. Thankfully we didn't have to come to that but we did enjoy his suggestion of the Rangers game!

Nathan Piket - Ring Bearer

The older brother of Tyler and quite the ball of energy. It's always a joy to see him and his brother run around on Christmas and other family occasions. Can't wait to see them steal the show along with the rest of the kids.

The younger brother of Nathan and just like his older brother doesn't like to sit still for too long either. Loves playing with lego and blocks and is very creative in the towers and buildings he makes.
